The TCU Elite Dance Team will hold in-person auditions for students currently enrolled for the TCU school year. The team looks for well-rounded and passionate dancers who wish to continue their dance experience at the collegiate level.

There will be an open audition clinic held at the Recreation Center in Multipurpose Room 1 for prospective members of the TCU Elite Dance Team. The clinic is free and open to all students enrolled at TCU. During the clinic, the current coaches will go over information about the team and auditions, team expectations, and answer any questions. Across-the-floor technique and a 1-minute combination will be taught during the clinic. While not required to audition for the team, the audition clinic is highly recommended for prospective team members.

Auditions and possible callbacks will be held 2 weeks after the clinic. Dancers will meet at the Recreation Center in Multipurpose Room 1. The dancers will learn across-the-floor technique and a 1-minute stylized, technical dance. Dancers will perform the technique and combination in front of a panel of judges consisting of previous and current coaches of the team. Previous team members are required to re-audition every year. Dancers are required to attend the whole day to be eligible for a spot on the team. Dancers will be contacted the night of the day of auditions via email to attend the callback auditions the next weekend, if applicable. The new team will be asked to attend a new member meeting on the Tuesday following the audition weekend at 7:00 PM.
